Molecularly Distilled Monoglyceride (DMG)

1. Product Features 

    The content of 90% (above) monoglyceride is white powder or small cylindrical solid.
    The molecular formula is: C ₂₁ H ₄₂ O _{4 The}
    structural formula is: molecular weight 358.57.
    It is made by refining hydrogenated palm oil with top glycerin and multi-level molecular distillation. Monoglyceride is insoluble in water, but soluble in alcohol, benzene and acetone. It can self-emulsify with hot water after vigorous shaking to form a stable hydrated dispersion. The HLB value of monoglyceride with a content of 90% (above) is 3.9-5.3. It is a multi-purpose emulsifier and is an internationally recognized safe food additive with unlimited dosage in FDA.

   1. In beverage and food:
   widely used in ice cream, compound milk, vegetable protein beverage, bread, cake, toffee, meat products, rice noodle products as emulsifier, stabilizer, starch anti-aging agent, etc. 2. In terms of edible fats and edible fine chemicals:
   used as high-quality emulsifiers and dispersants in margarine, shortening, powdered fats, fresh cream, fruit fresh-keeping coating agents, defoamers, etc. 
   3. In the processing of plastics such as EPE and PVC: it
   is a widely used non-toxic plasticizer and anti-aging agent, which can effectively improve the flexibility, plasticity and antistatic performance of products.
   4. In cosmetics and pharmaceutical emulsions:
   widely used in ointments, creams, liniments and to improve the dispersion and stability of the dispersed phase.
