Performance and application:

● EHSB-40 has the ability to significantly reduce the interfacial tension of oil and water. The surfactant concentration range is 0.06wt%~0.15wt%, the salinity is less than 10000mg/L, and the temperature is lower than 80℃, the interfacial tension can reach 10~(-2)mN/m, even 10~( -3) mN/m.

● EHSB-40 is a biodegradable betaine type viscoelastic surfactant, which can be used in daily chemical and oil field additives. The critical micelle concentration (cmc) at room temperature is 1.6×10~(-4)mol /L. When the concentration is increased to a certain concentration, the micelle structure will change, from spherical to rod-shaped, and the solution can form a viscoelastic structure with a three-dimensional network structure.

● EHSB-40 has a good emulsification effect on crude oil. The emulsion formed when the concentration of this product is 0.06wt% can be kept stable for more than 24h, and the formation adsorption loss is less than 1mg/g, which can meet the requirements of use.

● EHSB-40 indoor flooding test results show that water flooding and surfactant flooding can increase crude oil recovery by more than 10%.

● At a shear rate of 170s~(-1), the viscosity of EHSB-40 system is still higher than 40mPa·s at 70℃; its viscosity is still higher than 25mPa·s after shearing at a temperature of 80℃ and 2h. This system has Good shear resistance.

● EHSB-40 sand carrying performance test shows that the system can achieve good sand carrying effect when the sand ratio is 30% or even 40%.

● EHSB-40 gel breaking performance test shows that the system can break the gel in the presence of formation water or crude oil, and there is no residue after the system breaks the gel.
